Ilkka Tapola Appointed Chief Financial Officer of Axitare
Axitare has appointed Ilkka Tapola as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 20, 2026. He will also join Axitare’s executive leadership team.
Tapola joins Axitare from Pinja, where he has served as CFO for more than three years. Pinja provides software solutions for industrial customers internationally. Earlier in his career, Tapola spent several years at KONE Corporation, holding various financial management positions both in Finland and abroad. He brings extensive experience in financial leadership from both growth companies and global listed corporations, with expertise covering strategic development, execution, and holistic business growth.

Axitare has experienced strong growth in recent years, with revenue increasing by approximately 75% in 2025. Building on this growth, the company continues to invest in business development and international expansion.

In his new role, Tapola will report directly to CEO Lasse Rousi.
