Safe and flexible
The medicine dispenser ensures that doses are taken on time. If a dose is missed, an alert is sent to the nurse, who then contacts the client and can remotely dispense the missed dose—helping to avoid an unplanned home visit. Most missed doses are managed remotely without the need for a visit (approximately 80%, based on data from the Axitare remote care system).

The medicine dispenser serves as a secure storage unit for medicines. Nurses can also dispense as-needed medications remotely, such as pain relief. Medication courses can be managed in the same system as well, ensuring that temporary medications are delivered just as safely and reliably as regular prescriptions.
Quick setup
The Axitare medicine dispenser can be deployed immediately for new home care clients. It can be filled with medications either from dose sachets or pharmacy packaging, or both. This allows existing, already-paid-for medications to be utilized and benefiting from the dispenser starts right away.
